Honest conversations for high functioning humans.

REAL TALK: Mental Health Sounds Like This

REAL TALK is a long form podcast exploring what mental health, leadership, creativity, and well being actually sound like for people who carry responsibility, visibility, and pressure, often without space to process any of it.

This is not a podcast about fixing yourself. It’s a space for presence, perspective, and honest reflection.

Why this podcast exists.

REAL TALK started during the global pandemic, when isolation, fear, and disconnection made one thing painfully clear: people needed honest conversation and emotional support more than polished answers.

What began as simple, grounded dialogue has evolved into a trusted space for nuanced conversations about resilience, identity, leadership, nervous system health, and meaningful work, especially for the people who are always expected to hold it together.

Every person carries something they haven’t found the words for yet. REAL TALK is a space to find them, out loud, together.

No performance. No pretense. Just real talk.

Season Four is here.

Emma G and Dinah Simpson are live in studio, every Monday, unscripted.

Season Four goes deeper into the intersections of mental health, leadership, creativity, and what it actually means to thrive as a human being doing meaningful work in the world. New conversations every week with executives, healers, creatives, and entrepreneurs, no scripts, no teleprompters, just real talk.

Every person carries something they haven’t found the words for yet. This season, our guests found theirs, and shared it with us live.

What your audience leaves with

REAL TALK exists because:

  • High-functioning humans struggle too
  • Wellness is not one-size-fits-all
  • Healing doesn’t always look quiet
  • Growth shouldn’t come at the cost of your nervous system
  • Honest conversation still changes lives

This podcast is not about performance or perfection. It’s about staying connected to yourself while doing meaningful work in the world.

“Recently, I had the opportunity of being a guest on Emma G’s podcast “Reconnect with your Teenager” to discuss mother daughter relationships and my book, Make It Stop! It was such an enlightening experience working with Emma who personality and sweet spirit not only made it fun, but provided information to you audience in a way to connect with them keeping them engaged.
Her musical talents are outstanding. I love how she uses music to help reconnect with teenagers the same way I use teaching parents how to communicate and effectively listen to their teens to build a connection with them. It was a pleasure to work with Emma G. and I look forward to working with her again in the future. Continue doing the work you do it is so needed. Happy to have you as a comrade in this journey of helping our teens become all they can be.”

“Working with Emma during the podcast and being a guest was like a breath of fresh air. The energy she brings and the warmth and openness she spreads while on air are just amazing. Her questions were great and her reactions brought light to the conversation that could have gone the other way as mental health, and brain health of teens is a serious subject. It was truly an honor to be your guest Emma hopefully we will get a chance to work together again.
